=Friday=
It's supposed to be early celebration of Teachers' Day for TJ. Reason being so is that the year 2s will be having study break the next week so celebration will be better if it's held on this friday to include the year 2s.

Leo Club has proposed selling slippers to the school for charity purpose and also proposed to the school to allow us to wear slippers on friday. Okay, the school has allowed slippers with bright home clothes then. So friday was a rather different day for TJcians. Even other schools' students look at us in a queer manner in the morning while making our way to the school. This is the slippers I wore to school. I didn't buy the nokia slippers though, don't look very durable although I like the black design.

As usual the first 2 lectures on a celebration day is not at all effective. The lecturers somehow know it and lower their expectation on the level of noise in LTs. My feet are feeling kind of cold and unused to the condition as it's almost always wrapped in socks and shoes. Ha..

I want to thank all my robotics juniors for the card. Yep, it's a very good encouragement for me, I'm so touched. haha. Yes, I will go forward and be motivated. Thanks =) and... I won't have my wrinkles out, I'll still retain my IP kid look.

The celebration programme literally sucks... I'm feeling ultra bored staring at the meaningless video the year 1s created. It's so awful with the heavy noise echo in the video bluring almost any sound in the video. Those that I hear is often very high pitch, sending creeps down my nerves. Perhaps the plot is good, not anymore with lousy director (or video maker). Therefore, I only find the dance by the dance club entertaining. This year, there seems to be a lot of girls joining it and seems like the modern dance club should just rename their pdp title to something else since no guys are joining it. Anyway, not a lot of people attended the celebration I think, at least I didn't see mao xin... O_o Haha...

After the class skipped Aces day, we went around finding teachers to give presents to. They are quite happy just to receive something from us. For the subject teachers it isn't anything significant from us. It's just the cd with the presentation of slides done by jian yuan. I've never seen mdm lim smile like that, oh yeah, it's rare... But I like the expression on Ms fong when we hand her the photo album we did for her.

It really took us quite long time to prepare and plan. I'm not in the planning committee and I would like to say the planning committee has really done a good job. In doing this, we shouldn't blame one another for who did more or less. It's supposed to be a contribution that comes from the heart, something we put in willingly. I really don't hope to see factions arising out of small issues... It's not easy involving many people to come together and plan things. Patience is really the key thing. Afterall, 10/04 don't have many time together anymore, we ought to cherish the friendship we've built so far.

Anyway, Ms Fong flipped through every page, scanning her eyes briefly across every photos... She's rather amazed that everyone is so cooperative in churning out a creative gift for her. The girls are so obsessed with praising themselves continuously in front of Ms Fong how much effort they put in to decorate their page. Only alex rebuked and said that his page is the best... Oh okay... but Ms Fong thought that 1 of the photos ping aik might want it.. Lol.

Jian Yuan bought something for his e club teachers to represent a gift from the exco of his batch. I'm intrigued by the details of the gift. It's really very nice.. I don't think my camera can capture the essence of the gift, there's reflections of light in it that makes it look really beautiful.

Esmond and me also went around taking photos with teachers and friends. Ha, the teachers are quite accomodating even though they are busy with the long queue of students waiting to take pictures with them too. Haha. Ms fong even followed our camera pose.

The 02/04 people has drawn something quite creative and I happen to see it so I captured photos of it. Integration of Mrs Leong = Not applicable. You (rock). Haha, there's still another one for Mr Desai. They drew the mean power graph and showed error in the graph and his comments: "Drop physics". I heard they also did some poster thing for the form teacher also but of course not as elaborate as 10/04. =)

Study hard people, let's strive for good results ok? =)
=Natsu Matsuri=
I went with Esmond, Jian yuan and Alex on saturday in the evening for this japanese summer festival held in Japanese School of Association. It's my first time visiting a japanese school, first time attending japanese festival, so I thought it'll be quite fun. (Except for the waiting time for ahem and the queues...)

There's many japanese+locals going. Some who have fukata (japanese traditional costumes) wore there, so they won't need to loan there. There's a shuttle bus that will fetch us directly to the venue from opposite tanah merah bus stop. I think the bus we caught was the last bus... Most likely... I saw some TJcians going also but not very familiar to them so didn't say "hi" though.

When we reached the venue, it's already very saturated with crowds of visitors. Therefore, we cannot get the supposed free fans and tickets at the counter after queueing for a damn long time, in fact about 10 people away from the counter. That means we have to buy the tickets inside where some booths still may have the tickets.

As the name suggests and what common sense can infer, the festival is one that sells japanese food. I can't remember all the names of food there but only remembered seeing all the main dishes selling out. Even those that are not, it's not within our reach as we didn't buy the coupons with main dishes. It's only the main dishes that are really yummy... What a pity... Eventually, I had some pastries, watermelon/honeydew drink, pop corn, sausages, ice-cream x 2 and asahi beer for dinner. That's roughly about $8 I think.

Later in the night, esmond encourages us all to join in the traditional dance. I felt a bit reluctant due to shyness but since a lot of young people are dancing, soon everyone of us joined in. It's really quite simple to follow and learn. Basically, the crowd is dancing around in circle, and I remember some of the songs are "localised". I mean some elements of Singapore identity is brought into the songs. That's why there's songs like "chan mali chan" and "hey singapore". Overall, it isn't anything very much exciting but a pure sense of fun which I hasn't got for some time already.

We took many photos just before leaving, some are quite idiotic of course. I think I'll post those esmond and jian yuan took up here later. I only have those I took with my phone. Not very clear in night conditions though. Haha.

=Random Lyrics=
This is also one of the nice songs I like to listen. Don't ask me why this. Just another random thought.

**A1 - Learn to Fly**
---------------------------------------
When you feel the dream is over
Feel the world is on your shoulders
And you lost the strength to carry on
Even though the walls may crumble
And you find you always stumble through
Remember never to surrender to the dark
Cuz if you turn another page
You will see that’s not the way
The story has to end

And if you need to find a way back
Feel you’re on the wrong track
Give it time, you’ll learn to fly
Tomorrow is a new day
And you will find your own way
You’ll be stronger with each *tear that you cry
Then you’ll learn to fly

In your head, so many questions
The truth is your possession
The answer lies within your heart (within your heart)
You will see the doors are open
If you only dare to hope
And you will find a way to fight
The fears that kept you down
Cuz if you turn another page
You will see that’s not the way
The story has to end

And if you need to find a way back
Feel you’re on the wrong track
Give it time, you’ll learn to fly
Tomorrow is a new day
And you will find your own way
You’ll be stronger with each *tear that you cry
Then you’ll learn to fly

Looking at your situation
There’s so much that you can do
Now’s the time to make your stand
This is just an observation
In the end it’s up to you
The future’s in your hands

And if you need to find a way back
Feel you’re on the wrong track
Give it time, you’ll learn to fly
Tomorrow is a new day
And you will find your own way
You’ll be stronger with each tear* that you cry
Then you’ll learn to fly

Give it time
Then you’ll learn to fly
Another weekend for blogging. Yay~

=NAPFA Updates=
I managed to attain silver finally. 1st time of my life, I got that. I've failed NAPFA throughout except primary 4 when I got bronze.

I don't know if I should thank the practice session on wednesday which I've jumped over 20+ times for standing broad jump in hoping to achieve at least a D standard. Due to the poor cushioning of my shoes, my back and thighs aching severely even till now. But my jump improves slightly already though I don't believe in last minute work for physical conditioning.

I applied some medicinal pad (Is that how it's called?) on my back and thighs. It's not of the big and smelly ones but the newer types that are small and have no unpleasant smells. It sort of relieves my ache quite much. Otherwise, my shutter run and 2.4km run will suffer more repercussion.

Pull ups improve due to the pressure the sports guys are asserting on me unintentionally. They are doing so many to get A and so I just tried to do more than needed for silver. Shutter run allowed to run once since the teacher told me obtaining a B is more than enough. Diao~ Sit-and-reach can do better, not sure why but the grade is still the same. For sit-ups, I got no idea why the teacher has to minus 2 from my count. Well, still A anyway.

2.4km run came much later after everyone has completed their 5 items. I got lizhen as my recorder. During the run, she psycho her friends to cheer for me also. Wahaha... thanks to lz and friends... I tried to run at higher speed but my thighs are just too tired to catch up. Only at the last quarter of the last lap, I gathered all my energy to my legs and sprint as madly as possible.

After all, I hope jy don't be so sad about the results, after all there's still this programme to let you get silver..

=Charity?=
Today, I bought a shirt along with esmond and jian yuan. It's said that 3 shirts will give cheaper price so we agreed, though not exactly willingly. Maybe I should be the one to be blamed for relenting to esmond's relentless demands that upset jian yuan. I do think that the shirt is not very very nice and I have no idea what prompted me to buy the shirt. Lol... Perhaps Jian Yuan's money is meant to watch "The Maid" with whoever that is. He insists that doing charity is no good and besides the slippers look better. I'm speechless...

=Computing=
I just realise how bad it can be when all lectures focusing on theories are crammed together. It's so horrendous to start that only at 3/4 of THIS year. Similar to chemistry and physics, there's one on environment. Kind of weird to learn something about that, but I've yet to read through so I have no idea what's in it.

The way Wei Quan comments on Joel is quite funny. I don't know how I should put it but I think I shouldn't be so bad and say that, oh well...

=Embarrasing moments=
These are the moments that are so randomly thought out in my mind...

-When sleeping in bus and didn't realise how er... your image is...
-When tap water splashes on your pants which is mistaken to be....
-When someone wrongly thought that you're doing some disgusting things when viewed from an angle
-When you fall asleep on bus and your head constantly knocks on someone's else shoulders
-When you drip gravy or soup on someone else you are not familiar with
-When you tell a joke and the person looks at you sternly and says 'it's not funny'
-When you thought something is cool and somebody says it sucks
-When you are serious on a matter while everybody thinks it's a joke
-When you are still teased about the sweet things your gf/bf did to you
-When everyone knows about what's going on except yourself
-still more of it... end of part1, haha
=Zhong Se Qing You=
Ha, recently someone has raised this issue. Not regarding me actually. I suppose it's natural to feel irritated when your good friend's being "occupied" by someone and somehow neglected you indirectly. But actually, no one really OWNS anyone so I suppose it's actually right of anyone to talk to and be with anyone he or she feels comfortable with. Sticking to someone due to obligation rather than willingness is pointless. Perhaps, it's often that one's loneliness can make a person feel jealous or low self-esteem...

=Borrowed Items=
I've managed to fold a dinosaur from mao xin's origami book. I actually borrowed for quite a long time and here I am with only a T-rex that's out of proportion. I can't get the legs folded properly by the way. But at least, there's a rough shape you can tell that it's dinosaur right? Say yes please. Lol. Hansui's FFX2's also back with her already. I returned her today since I won't have the chance to play at this time of the year. Maybe after A Level, I will have the short period of freedom.

=Robotics=
I'm gathering all holy power to pray for my club for the coming competition. People, must buck up. This is your time to make a mark in TJ's history. Hope you all can sincerely fight for the club. (Not literally of course...) Gambatte!

=National Day=
I didn't manage to use the computer on national day. But I did manage to take photos of the firework. It's not very nice at all but it's the best I can take out of it. Lol. They just appear as spots in the picture.

I also played mahjong that day. No win no lose. Most of the times, I'm supposed to win at least half the bet with my relatives... Lousy performance this time. National day parade's interesting. I didn't expect the separated venues to have a different taste of variety for this year. Lots of defence show-offs this time. Some are things I've never seen before. Goody bag looks nice too! Warh~ Blame my luck for not getting chosen for tickets.
Updates...

=Mugging Process=
I'm getting restless once in a while but still in a good swing for more.. Syllabus has ended for almost all, soon will be into the full-blown revision lectures and tutorials. Many of my friends has already planned their revision schedule in details already and there has also been additional emphasis on that by the principal. I've never done one in my entire life so far, wonder if it'll work for me?

=Gossips=
Got photos of jy n ahem studying together, Alex n pa studying together. These are the evidences contributed by jy. Ha, hope you don't mind. Tsk~ Haha.

I would say that some teachers are really alert or have an acute sense of information gathering. Not to mention who, but there are some who really know about what's going on between their students, more than what grades that should matter to them most. Ha.

=NAPFA=
I'm feeling so irritated by my results. But at least it's better than usual. I scored A for sit-ups and shuttle run, D for chin-ups and 2.4 run, C for sit-and-reach, E for standing broad jump. The requirements for standing broad jump is 222cm for 18 year old guys. The first 2 times I jumped was an embarrasing 180+ due to the worn out grip from my shoes and the slippery concrete floor. It's a little bit of unfair to let us jump on that ground instead of the mat. It would have been better but since everyone can jump so far, I see no reason why my performance for that would be lousy. I tried the third and fourth time bare-footed and got 219 and 215 respectively. Haiz. The re-test has to be conducted with all items regardless of how many items failed to achieve a D. That sucks...

=National Day Preparation=
TJ allows chalk and rice graffiti to be decorated under the LT and the stretch of walkway around there. I thought it will be quite messy but turned out to look pretty good! Response is applausible as many classes enthusiastically participated in that. 07/04 and 11/04's combined design is cool! These are the photos. I could only take them separately as the view's too big for my hp. Nice right? 10/04 also did both rice and chalk graffiti for Singapore too. Although not as nice but it's the thoughts that matters. Haha. For the rice ones, it's contributed by jian yuan, esmond, alex and me! For the chalk one is ping aik, alex, esmond, jian yuan and me. We wanted to include everyone in the class but turns out to be quite messy. However the main message can still be seen. Heez.

=Anime=
Naruto episode for this week's a bluff! I heard from lim pin that there's no new release for this week so there can't be a translated episode which I thought there was. The video that I downloaded was about some weird comedy which I've not watched yet. Wasted my time downloading that.

The way Inuyasha and Shaman King portrays fighting scenes are actually quite simplified, I feel. It lacks the depth of reality how matches are fought steps by steps and some parts are over-looked. It resembles the older films of martial arts whereby the person just strikes and the enemy either dies or runs away. Hope to wish for a more exciting thrill to fights in the later episodes.
